This handsome guy. He has the best smile and so much to say. I could've chatted with him the entire time. Heather, it was great seeing you all again. I hope you and Jeffrey love these photos of your sweet boy. He is genuinely amazing. Thank you so much! ~ B

These three folks are special people. I was so thankful to have the time to spend with them and though the temperatures would have kept many away, they persevered. Sharon, Charles and sweet Pearl, I am so grateful to know you, thank you for allowing me the walk. Love to you all! ~ B

The Williams Family ...

I first met this family when their little guy hadn't even made his debut. Every single time I'm with them, it's a ton of fun. This little 18-month-old bundle of energy has the best little toddle in town and watching him run around with his wonderful parents is such a highlight. Tiffany, Shawn and Adyn, once again, thank you so much for letting me shoot you guys, it is always such a pleasure! ~ B

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, what a great spot for a shoot. We arrived early enough to be the only people there. It was a brisk but beautiful day and it proved perfect for this gorgeous family, pups included.

Abdelnour family, It was such a pleasure getting to know you all. I once read that "The family is one of nature's great masterpieces", your family reflects this wonderfully. Thank you so much for allowing me the time with you all. ~ B

Sharon Woods has been such a beautiful place to shoot this year. The leaves seemed to change in just a matter of days and it was evident with the three shoots I had here in a very short time. This handsome senior and his wonderful parents wandered the park with me as we enjoyed the pleasant weather and the sun, for about 30 minutes before the wind and clouds blew in. Thompson family, thank you so much for inviting me into this season with you all. I am so thankful for the time. John, I look forward to hearing where you end up and am confident that you'll find great success in your endeavors. Wishing a great senior year! ~ B

As a natural light photographer you pay very close attention to the weather. The entire week prior to this shoot showed rain on the forecast but as the day neeared we had about a two to three hour window where the chances of rain had cleared. We chose to meet then and as luck would have it, as we drove to our destination the rain came. The entire time this beauty contended with a constant drizzle and chill and yet, her smile was radiant regardless. Abbey and Linda, it was such fun, despite, to spend time wandering with you two. Thank you so much for allowing me the time and for letting me shoot your portraits. I look forward to hearing what your plans will be upon graduation and wish you many of God's blessings and His great and clear guidance along the way! ~ B

Early morning shoots can be a little unpredictable this time of year, except in that, you're almost always guaranteed some cold temps. We started this shoot with high thirty temps and hoped that we'd see a quick uptick as we wandered. It did warm but not quite as quickly as we'd hoped, but this handsome guy didn't let it bother him one bit. Walking the early morning hours in Covington was an absolute pleasure with you two, Debbie and Jason. Thank you for enduring the cold weather and for allowing me the time to shoot. I look forward to hearing what the coming year brings you all! ~ B

One thing I've found over the years, when seniors are willing to step out of their comfort zone a bit, it can make for really great outcomes. That can be said for anything, but night's like the one of this shoot, it absolutely rings true. This beautiful senior met me in the Oregon District of Dayton, with our second location being the Wegerzyn Gardens Park. The sun was shining but we dealt with what felt like gale force winds. This blue eyed beauty managed the cold that came with them brilliantly and it made for a memorable evening as we wondered if the newly grey skies would bring rain. It did, but in miniscule amounts. Sabrina and Michelle, I so enjoyed walking Dayton with you two. Thank you for taking the time, for enduring those bitter winds and allowing me in. I wish you all the absolute best in the upcoming year and beyond! ~ B

Julia ...

I have always loved shooting in October. The weather is relatively predictable though that certainly hasn't been the case this year. This beautiful senior and her wonderful Mom agreed to meet me anyway, despite the cold temps and chances of rain. Fortunately, the rain missed us and once we began wandering the temperature wasn't so bad. And you can tell by the photos, this gal has a genuine beauty, in and out, that naturally shown through. Julia and Trina, I had a great time walking Sharon Woods with you two. Thank you so much for your flexibility, for your time and for allowing me the opportunity to shoot portraits for you. I look forward to seeing what the rest of senior year and beyond bring for you guys! ~ B

Engaged in the Queen City ...

Every once in awhile you get to shoot something impromptu, that was the case for this surprise engagement. The happy and emotional expressions are genuine and the joy was definitely contagious. Marriage is such an incredible gift and I find so much pleasure in seeing folks decide to take the plunge. All too often, you hear about the challenges that come with it, how it needs to be taken so seriously, and there is definitely weight and truth to those, we all have our seasons, but marriage in its truest, most genuine form is unexplicably beautiful. I'm thrilled that these wonderful folks are so excited about their future together. Ryan and Carly, Congratulations on your engagement! I wish you loads and loads of unlimited joy and year after year of an abounding love. Thank you for allowing me the time! ~ B
